High temperature steam pressure reducer adopted with highly pressure rated forged body of PRV with pilot plug design which gives supreme stability and controlling performance during continuous operation under high pressure and temperature, its design pressure is <17.0 MPa, design temperature is < 570 DegreeC, steam flow range is from 10% to 100%.

NY963Y

HP Steam Pressure Reducing Valve

To suit the high pressure and temperature conditions, the NY963/663Y PRV uses forged material for body construction, design with pressure seal bonnet, trim applies with pilot design and multiple cage construction, which is capable of managing large pressure drops and reduces the negative effects of erosion, cavitation, and noise. With the different working condition, the cage can be custom-designed with flow characteristic including of equal-percentage and linear to obtain the highest accuracy of desired steam pressure.

Venturi Concept and Multiple Nozzle

The desuperheaters reduce steam temperatures by introducing cooling water directly into the hot steam. Temperature reduction is essentially a matter of heat transfer, where the cooling water is placed in direct contact with steam and receives the necessary heat for evaporation.


Feed Water Control Valve

The cage guided feed water control valve is basically a single seat structure but featured with cage design. The cage has favorable Interchangeability, be reached different flow characteristics including linear, equal-percentage and quick open, to get much higher precision of controlling.

Forged Full Machined Body Design

To suit the high pressure and temperature conditions, the LV963/663Y PRV uses forged material for body construction, compare with casting body, forged full body has better mechanical property and strength endurance, able to handle thermal fatigue critical for reliable service, ensure the safe, trouble-free performance during the continuous operation


Very Tight shut-off

The valve energized pilot balanced plug provides zero cc/min. leak rates, without penalty of huge actuators, even with metal to metal seats at full body pressure/temperature ratings, greatly increasing the valve's reliability.

Multihole Cage Design

The Multihole cage guided trim is capable of managing large pressure drops and reduces the negative effects of erosion, cavitation, and noise. With the different working condition, the cage can be custom-designed with flow characteristic including of equal-percentage and linear to obtain the highest accuracy of desired steam pressure.

Pilot Plug Design

Pilot plug design, means in the closed position, the main plug within the valve is unbalanced with full steam pressure acting on top. Combined with the actuator thrust this creates an extremely high seat contact and ensures a very tight shut off without relying on auxiliary balancing seals and close tolerance sealing surfaces. When open high-pressure steam floods the valve to the underside of the main plug, balancing it and reducing the actuation thrusts required. This design not only provides repeatable, assured shut-off but prevents leak-induced damage to the valve seat.

Interchangeability Design

Unique plug and seat design allows for repeatable, provides longer intervals between maintenance and allows easy access to all components of the valve. specifications.

Radiator Design

Apply with Radiator Disc between body and actuator, protect the actuator from the overheating in working procession, ensure the stability of the actuator.
