Dollar Thrifty Automotive group, a car rental firm, has signed a multi-year vehicle supply agreement with Chrysler Group.

Under the deal, Dollar Thrifty will source a portion of its annual vehicle purchases via Chrysler Group's 2015 program year.

Dollar Thrifty Automotive group president, CEO and chairman of the board Scott Thompson said that the company is pleased to secure a new, long-term vehicle supply agreement which will give it access to Chrysler Group's product offerings through the 2015 program year.

The company said that it also has a long-term vehicle supply agreement in place with Ford Motor to source vehicles through program year 2013 and has also sourced vehicles for several other manufacturers, including General Motors, Nissan, Kia, Mitsubishi and Hyundai.

Next year, the company is planning to add new products to its fleet by entering into supplier relationships with Mazda and Volkswagen.
